LA: January 2011
My first priority this month was to get a car. Everything else was on hold until I found some mode of transportation that did not involve the word “public.” I ended up buying the first car I test drove. Meet “Blackbird” yes, after one of my favorite songs by The Beatles because I name everything, why not my first child car?
I don’t like water spots, dust, smog...

LA. LA. LA.
Well, I spent the first week cursing parallel parking, getting parking tickets, driving around looking for parking spots, and showing up 30 minutes late to everywhere I was supposed to be. Then, I decided to suck it up and force myself to parallel park. I guess “adjustment” would be the buzz word for my first month in LA. I’ve also decided that parking garages are the bane of...
There are only two options - make progress or make excuses.

And I choose progress, slowly but surely.

LA Style
I can’t get enough of my new skinny jeans. The pair I’ve been lusting after are the J Brand 912 low-rise Pencil Leg in Ink. I just couldn’t rationalize the $158 price tag. I can’t fathom spending that much money on a pair of jeans. Every time I go to Buffalo Exchange I glance through the jeans rack for my coveted pair of J Brands. Yesterday I had a slow motion experience. I...

Today: Geek on Glee set
I had the quintessential LA day. Or what I used to daydream a day in LA would be like when I still lived in NYC. I got up with the sun, walked to the local coffee shop, got some work done, and then headed to lunch at the Paramount lot. Their lunchroom reminded me of a cafeteria, except the food was better. Afterwards, we wandered over to the Glee sound stage.
Then, we headed into the music...

directordylan asked: Congratulations on the move to LA, I've been trying to move out there for a while now and hopefully will be out there in a year. I'm leaving NY with the hopes of getting somewhere in the film industry as a writer/director. How do you like LA so far and do you miss NY?

Mr Mojo Risin
I’ve imagined this day in my head for weeks, days, months, years. I’ve imagined how I would feel when my transcript read 120/120. 120 credits for a Bachelor’s Degree. 120 credits=40 classes. When did I take 40 different classes? 40 different professors condensed into 2 and a half years? No wonder it’s a blur. I’ve been waiting for the final grades to be posted.
Just...

250,000 multicolored balls bouncing down the streets of San Francisco
THIS MAKES ME INFINITELY HAPPY.
