Today I saw It’s Complicated with my Mom. Seriously, it was amazing. Alec Baldwin has been bringing tears of laughter every week on 30 Rock but was especially hysterical as Jakey. Meryl Streep was her usual amazing self and watching her get high with Steve Martin was hysterical. Then, we went to dinner and did some shopping. We avoided the crowds the couple of days after Christmas and went tonight when it was a little more calm. I forgot how kids in this town hang out at the mall for fun. There were so many middle school and high school aged kids just sitting around. Now I’m lounging with the roaring heater and have consumed about ten too many Ferrero Rochers. Seriously, I have been in love with these things ever since the first time I had one in the 5th grade. They just melt in your mouth. So, to sum up my day…Romcom, lobster dinner, shopping, and excessive chocolate eating. It’s feeling a lot like vacation and I’m not complaining!
