GPOYW I met Taylor Swift edition (!!!) She and I are the same age, we’re both country music fanatics, except she’s a completely awesome musician but whatever, we would totally be BFF’s. My favorite songs by her would definitely be The Best Day because it reminds me of my Mom, Forever and Always for the lyric “Was I out line? Did I say something way too honest that made you run and hide like a scared little boy?” and finally Love Story when it gets to the part when she belts, “MARRY ME JULIET, YOU’LL NEVER HAVE TO BE ALONE, I LOVE YOU AND THAT’S ALL I REALLY KNOW, I TALKED TO YOUR DAD, GO PICK OUT A WHITE DRESS, IT’S A LOVE STORY, BABY JUST SAY YES...” Everytime she gets to that part I scream the lyrics, even when I’m on the subway, well then I just quietly whisper them. Oh and P.S. She is just as nice, gracious, and sweet in person as one would hope. I never thought she would be anything but a sweet heart but I met her in the midst of fashion week the day after the Kanye incident and she was getting bombarded by journalists. She is a breath of fresh air plus has the most amazing boot collection and you know I love my boots. Oh wow, I was trying to post a GPOYW photograph and I think I just outed my girl crush. Whoops. Whatever. I adore T-Swift.
