Although it’s a stunning dress, I agree it is a bit bridal. Any dress that could pass for a bride to wear should be saved for a different occasion. This would be appropriate for a bride to wear at a summer beach wedding or to renew her vows. I would go with something that had a pattern in a lighter color if that’s the shade you prefer. Even if you know it’s a light shade of pink, it may look white from a distance. It’s completely gorgeous though and I bet you will get many other fabulous opportunities to wear it for the spring/summer seasons!
so i bought this dress from h&m’s garden collection with the idea that i’d wear it to the wedding i’m going to over memorial day weekend. tony thought it was a bit too close to white to wear to a wedding, but i kind of disagree, especially if i add some color with accessories.
what do you think?
[edited to add: the dress is indeed light pink, not off white]

I think this will be beautiful, especially once it’s all done up. What color are you thinking for the accessories? I secretly think the “no white or black” to a wedding is a silly rule. Are people honestly going to be confused as to who the bride is?

Is the dress white or light pink? If it’s a white or cream dress, I’d say no. If it’s light pink and you pair it with bold, bold color accessories, you’ll be fine.
