My brother and sister-in-law’s house has a plethora of fun things to do. They have at least a thousand books in their house (no exaggeration) and full series of dozens of shows plus on demand. It’s a big treat for me because there’s always something to do. However, the last thing I want to do is sit in front of the TV all day when I could be hanging out with my niece and nephew. So, instead I spend the day building forts with them, going to their classes, and playing lots of made up games. However, when the lights go out and they’re off to bed, I take full advantage of viewing all the shows I’ve never gotten around to watching. An oldie but goodie I’m watching my way through tonight is the Friend’s series. It’s pretty great being an Aunt but not having the full responsibility of enforcing all the real rules. I get to chill with them all day and then leave the real work (putting kids to bed, wow never thought it could be so hard to get a kid to fall asleep) to their fully capable parents while I re-watch Friends episodes. I completely forgot how well written this show is!
