I was chatting to a friend of mine yesterday about how to preserve memories of our little ones for them to look at when they are older. Someone in her Mom’s group came up with this cool idea.
Set up an email address for your baby and start sending them emails every now and then with photos and a description of what you guys did that day.

To all you modern moms out there, yes this idea is cool. But another one, what my Mom did and I loved so much is that she kept an actual journal of what we did together daily. She jotted down sayings I had said and reminded me of moments that I have vague memories of. There is absolutely nothing like holding an old worn journal and seeing areas where her writing turns into a scribble as I tried to grab the pen from her. The handwritten versus the typing is what makes this a winner in my book although it shows I was most definitely born in the 80’s.
